Well, Brooklyn had a check-up yesterday ("shots, oww"). We found out that she is healthy and developing just fine, however she continues to be on the small side. The very small side, she is in the 5th percentile for wieght and the 10th for height. But this is normal for her so its all good. Her head is still in the 75th percentile cause her brain is so freaking huge. She is stronger at trying to wiggle away from shots compared to last time, but no tears. Just a lot of "No-no-no-no. Stop. No touch." Ya, she communicates just fine. And when she was done she got a sticker! No she didn't go for a sparkley princess, or Ariel, or even Pooh, she went for the Hulk and Spiderman stickers. Whatever.
This is way funny Kate! My nephew went for shots when he was 5. He didn't cry but with big tears in his eyes and a very sad face, he looked at the nurse and said, "Why would you do that to me?" The nurse said that made her feel like such a jerk! :) Kids are funny!
My niece (who is almost 8 now) is small like Brooklyn...her weight was in like the 25th percentile, height in the 10th (or vice versa) but her head was in the 95th percentile!!!!!! I called her the lolly pop baby.
